In the effort to replace old red lights on Butte's iconic headframes, Town Pump Charitable Foundation stepped up to underwrite the costs for the first 3 headframes.
Bill McGladdery, director of corporate communications at Town Pump, said the foundation was happy to foot the bill for all three headframes because the company understands that these headframes are part of what made Butte the richest hill on earth. “This is our home,” said McGladdery. “We are committed to Butte and its heritage and want to participate as part of the community in maintaining them and lighting them.”

The Town Pump Charitable Foundation invites charitable organizations to apply for an Adopt A Family grant through the Christmas Giving Program. Thanks to many caring volunteers across Montana, year after year we are able to award grants to help our Montana neighbors have a bright holiday season.
The Town Pump Charitable Foundation understands that one of the most basic needs in life is a safe place to sleep and a nutritious meal. We offer assistance and emergency grants to warming centers and rescue missions across Montana.

Town Pump recognizes the importance of firefighters and their dedication to helping others. The demand for
equipment such as thermal imaging cameras, protective equipment, water tanks and more is enormous. In
2017, the Town Pump Charitable Foundation invited fire departments to apply for a Firefighter Grant to provide
funds to purchase needed equipment. 90 grants, totaling $500,000 were given as part of this program. The
grants provided funding for a variety of needs including personal protective equipment (PPE), self-contained
breathing apparatus (SCBA), hoses, tank lifts, thermal imaging cameras, radios, water pumps and gas monitors.
